Massage Therapy
Firm Swedish
Slightly more pressure than the traditional gentle Swedish, but not anywhere near the deep tissue or sports massage. The Firm Swedish massage is a full-body relaxation massage with the therapist moving into the next layer of skin to help reduce tension.
30 Minute Area Specific Targeted Treatment
This treatment is designed to target specific areas while not receiving a full-body massage treatment. Areas may include: neck, shoulders, rotator cuff, forearms, low back, hips, and knees.
Deep Tissue Sculpting
A penetrating therapy that focuses on muscle tension and chronic muscular holding patterns to restore the connective tissue (or fascia, the tissue surrounding the muscles) to its natural state. Excellent for soft tissue injuries, relieving muscular pain, and increasing your range of motion.
Techniques usually involve slow strokes and intense pressure to specific area of the body to alleviate chronic or specific muscle tension in order to restore flexibility and functionality to the muscles and remove pain.
Deep tissue is often very effective when used in conjunction with other therapies, such as Swedish with Deep Tissue.
Back on Track
This massage is designed to focus the entire session on three areas where many people hold stress and tension: the neck, shoulders, and back.
By focusing the entire time on these areas, the therapist can achieve greater results for each client during a single session.
Low Back Restore
Similar to the Back On Track session, this massage is focused on the primary muscles that often contribute to low back pain: the QLs (quadrates lumborum), psoas, gluteus complex, and hamstrings. While this massage is very effective, it is not for the weak at heart.
Deep Heat Therapy
Penetrating deep tissue massage incorporating targeted heat therapy and special muscle relief herbal formulas. Excellent for releasing chronic back/neck muscle tension and increasing range of motion.
Sports Massage (Athletic and Sports Muscle Reconditioning)
By using vigorous massage techniques, this athletic massage is designed to help active individuals recuperate faster after strenuous exercise or for those with sports related injuries.
Perfect for pre- and post-exercise or competition, this massage prepared the body for higher levels of exertion and prevents injury from tightened muscles. It improves performance and endurance, and promotes healing and muscle elasticity.
Various techniques include deep tissue and stretching may be incorporated to prevent injury and enhance recovery.
Movement Assessment and Structural Integration
This unique assessment was in part pioneered by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is performed by a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist. Through this assessment, we are able to identify which muscles in your body are over-stretched or shortened, thus causing postural and movement dysfunctions, and thereby causing pain. After assessing the over-stretched and shortened muscles, corrective techniques and homework can be prescribed, in addition to Structural Integration techniques performed by a massage therapist.
